Regional police arrested two people in connection to multiple gas station robberies that took place across the province this week.

On Monday night, Truro police officers responded to a robbery that took place at the Mobile Gas Bar on Elm Street where a man with a bat demanded cash and left in a white SUV with a woman.

A short time later, officers from the East Hants District RCMP responded to a robbery that took place at the Petro Canada in Elmsdale where a man with a hammer demanded cash and fled in a white SUV.

Shortly after, Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Mobil Gas Station on the Bedford Highway where a man with a hammer entered the store, demanded cash, damaged a display case and fled in a white SUV with money, cigarettes and lottery tickets.

Then in the early morning hours on Tuesday, Halifax Mounties responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Hwy. 103 that matched the suspect vehicle in all three robberies.

Police said officers found the vehicle, arrested the driver and passenger while also seizing a bat and hammer.

Kyle Jeffrey Rogers, 40, was scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Wednesday to face charges of robbery, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and operation of a conveyance while prohibited.

Sarah Dawn Godfrey, 35, was also scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court on Wednesday to face one count of robbery.
