Bullets struck building in Dartmouth; police make multiple arrests

Halifax Regional Police have arrested four people in connection to a shooting in Dartmouth on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 5:40 a.m., police said officers were called to an area of Booth Street in Dartmouth after reports of gunfire. Officers located a residence in the area that had been struck but there are no reported injuries.

Later that day, police said they found the suspect vehicle near Bras Dor Lane and arrested four people at a home in the area.

Demetreous Lane in Dartmouth was closed to traffic, and people were asked to avoid the area as officers continued to investigate.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020.
