Driver caught going 60 km/h over the speed limit in Dartmouth

A driver was charged with stunting on a Dartmouth highway on Wednesday morning.
According to Halifax Regional Police, a 23-year-old driver was clocked in at 160 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Hwy. 118 near exit 12.
That driver was ticketed for stunting, an automatic charge for speeding more than 50 km/h above the speed limit.
Police say the driver now faces a fine of nearly $2,500 and six points were assigned to his driving record. The driver was also suspended for seven days and the vehicle was seized.
