Three people arrested after weapons call at downtown hotel

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a weapons call at the Westin Hotel downtown that occurred early yesterday evening.

According to a release from HRP, officers were called just after 5 p.m. to the Hollis Street hotel in response to the complaint.

Police say the emergency response team arrested two adult males and one adult female without incident around 8 p.m.

They say no one was hurt in the incident and police are not looking for other suspects.

Charges are expected and the investigation remains ongoing.
