Police say suspicious deaths in Enfield result of homicide, self-inflicted injuries

Police say they’ve determined the deaths of two people in Enfield to be the result of homicide and self-inflicted injuries.

On Oct. 18, officers found two people dead at a home on Rockcliffe Drive in Enfield.

In an update on Tuesday, Nova Scotia RCMP said it has been determined that a 60-year-old woman died as a result of homicide and a 61-year-old man died due to self-inflicted injuries.

Police say they knew each other, but added they will not be releasing further details due the the Privacy Act and out of respect for the families.

The investigation is ongoing.
