Charges have been laid against three people after firearms and crossbows were seized from a home in Tantallon.

The RCMP says officers executed a search warrant at a home on Peggy’s Cove Road on Oct. 23 as part of an ongoing investigation.

“During the search, officers located two prohibited firearms, a restricted firearm, ammunition, and four crossbows,” police said in a media release.

Three people were arrested, Jedidiah Lewis Langille, 30, Trena Whittier, 54, and Deadn Richardson, 51. The trio are facing 26 weapons-related charges.

Langille and Richardson were held in custody for a court appearance Thursday, while Whittier was released with a court date set for December 17.
