Teen hit by school bus in Dartmouth

Police in Halifax say a youth suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries after being hit by a school bus in Dartmouth on Tuesday morning.

Halifax Regional Police says just before 9 a.m., a 17-year-old girl was stuck while walking in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Caledonia Road and Main Street.

The bus was turned west-bound on to Main Street when the teen was hit, police said.

There was no word on possible charges. Police were asking anyone with video from the scene or information about the incident to get in touch with them or anonymously with Crime Stoppers.
