At roughly 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a woman who approached a 10-year-old boy after he got off a school bus on Ontario Street.
Police said while walking home, the woman followed and approached the boy near the intersection of Fuller Terrace and Black Street.
She attempted to get the boy to go with her but he ran away and reported the incident to a trusted adult.
According to police, the woman is described as a Black woman, between 40 to 50 years old, approximately 5’3″ tall, with dark curly hair.
At the time, she was wearing a red winter hat, red and black pants and glasses that looked to have jewellery hanging off them. She also had a red and green coloured flower tattoo on the top of her right hand.
