Three seriously injured in Cape Breton crash

The RCMP is investigating after three people were injured in a crash in Cape Breton on Monday night.

Police say at 9 p.m., a vehicle went off the road and struck a culvert on Hwy. 105 in St. Patrick’s Channel, in Victoria County.

The driver, 34, and a passenger, 36, both suffered serious injuries and were taken to hospital.

Another passenger, 33, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The highway was closed for a period of time but has since reopened and the investigation is ongoing.
