Gas price rise across Nova Scotia to start 2025

A significant jump in gasoline prices as we head into the first weekend of 2025.
The Nova Scotia Utilities and Review Board(NSUARB) used its weekly adjustment at midnight to raise the minimum price for self-serve regular gas by 5.6 cents to 159.7.
The news was similar for diesel. Fuel prices were raised by 5.1 cents to a new minimum price of 181.1.

At this time last year, we were paying 1.54 for gasoline and 1.86 for diesel.
