Truro man who disappeared one year ago still missing: Police
Police are asking for the public’s help finding a Truro man who disappeared more than a year ago.
On Jan. 14, 2024, at roughly 4 p.m., Zachery Kellock left his home in Truro in a vehicle with two other people and never returned. Mounties said his family reported him as a missing person two days later.
At the time of his disappearance, Kellock was described as 5’9″ tall, 159 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Police said he was last seen wearing a dark grey leather jacket and was 23 years old at the time.
“A missing person investigation leaves so many unanswered questions for the missing person’s loved ones,” says Cpl. Jennifer Tichonchuk, Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit.
“We believe that there are people who have the information that will help us answer these questions about Zach, and we ask that they reach out to police or to Crime Stoppers to share what they know. Even the smallest detail may make a big difference as we continue the investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to reach out to police or Crime Stoppers.
