Lynyrd Skynyrd coming to Halifax in September

Legendary rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd is coming to Halifax later this year.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have announced a 10 show run in Canada, including one show at Scotiabank Centre on September 23.

That will be one of three shows in Atlantic Canada, the others taking place in Moncton and St. John’s.

Lynyrd Skynyrd’s current line-up features Johnny Van Zant, Rickey Medlocke, Damon Johnson, Mark “Sparky” Matejka, Michael Cartellone, Keith Christopher, Peter Keys, Carol Chase and Stacy Michelle.

An artist pre-sale goes live on Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. and will continue through to Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. while general sales will start Jan. 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
