Halifax Regional Municipality may not be entirely done with the snow just yet.
Allister Aalders, 95.7 NewsRadio weather specialist, says a system will move through the region later Monday, bringing one to three centimetres of snow to the city before the precipitation transitions to rain.
Aalders is expecting rainfall amounts in the eight to 15 millimetre range.
The winds will also pick up as the system passes through.
“The winds become breezy for the night tonight, southeast to southwesterly,” said Aalders. “Generally ranging 40 to 60 kilometres per hour, but there could be some gusts to 70.”
Aalders says the weather pattern for most of the week is best described as unsettled, with another system expected to impact the region late Wednesday and perhaps more precipitation heading into next weekend.
