RCMP ask for help locating man missing from Sheet Harbour area

Halifax Regional RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 56-year-old man from Watt Section.

Robert James Fleet was last seen around 8 a.m. on May 13. He is described as white, 6’1″, and about 229 pounds, with hazel eyes and short, curly white hair. He may be wearing blue jeans, a blue T-shirt and a hoodie.

Fleet is believed to be driving a black 2018 GMC Sierra with Nova Scotia licence plate FJG 669.

Police say missing persons cases have deep and far-reaching impacts on families and communities, and they are asking the public to share information respectfully.

Anyone with information on Robert Fleet’s whereabouts is asked to contact Halifax Regional RCMP at 902-490-5020 or their local police. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), visiting www.crimestoppers.ns.ca, or using the P3 Tips app.
