Mooseheads come back to defeat Saint John 4-3

The Halifax Mooseheads topped the Saint John Sea Dogs 4-3 on Friday night at Scotiabank Centre.

The Sea Dogs opened up the scoring early in the first period as Zach Morin found the back of Halifax’s net, but Daniel Walters evened things up just minutes later. Dylan Rozzi restored Saint John’s lead before the end of the period.

Halifax struck back in the second period as Patrick McNab lit the lamp a few minutes in to tie things up at 2-2 heading into the third period.

Quinn Kennedy gave Halifax their first lead of the game 35 seconds into the third period, but Alexander Donovan answered back for the Sea Dogs to keep things tied up at 3-3.

The Herd regained the lead as Oleg Kulebyakin netted his first goal as a Moosehead late in the third period to seal the deal.
