RCMP investigating domestic stabbing in Hammonds Plains

A woman will be appearing in court later today to face charges after a violent attack in a quiet HRM neighbourhood.
Halifax District RCMP Sgt. Linda Gray said they were called to Fisher Dr. in Hammonds Plains at 9:15 Tuesday night.
“It was a report of a stabbing,” she said. “A male victim was transported to the hospital with injuries.”
Gray said the woman fled the scene, but was quickly tracked down.
“A female suspect was arrested shortly thereafter near the scene, with the assist of K-9.”
It’s not yet known what charges she will be facing; Gray said officers are still investigating the incident.
“I believe she’ll be appearing in court later today.”
She said the victim and suspect are known to each other, and the man has since been released from hospital.
