Police no longer seeking public help in missing man case (update)

Halifax Regional Police issued a statement that said the matter had been “concluded, and police are no longer seeking public's assistance.”

THe police added that there are no further updates at this time.

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a man who has been reported missing.

Isaac Doucet was last seen at around 11 a.m. Thursday in Lakeside, when he was wearing a yellow polo shirt and carrying an olive or tan jacket, a blue or black backpack and an orange reusable shopping bag.

He's described as white with short brown hair. He's around 5'10″ with a slim build. 

The 30-year-old is known to frequent walking trails in the Clayton Park area.

Police say there's no reason to believe Doucet has met with foul play, but they're concerned for his well-being.
