‘Looking for a Christmas miracle’ : Family pleads for information about man last seen in Truro in August

The family of a missing man last seen in Truro almost four months ago is pleading for information on his whereabouts.

In a video posted to the Nova Scotia RCMP YouTube page (see below), Susan Robben — the mother of Peter Anthony Walsh (Tony Walsh) — says her family is hoping for a Christmas miracle.

“Tony is a son, brother, father, uncle and friend to many and we all miss him dearly,” she says. “Tony's daughter is looking to have her dad come home for Christmas and cook her supper. That's all she's asking for.”

On Friday, August 23, it's believed Walsh drove to various spots in Millbrook, Truro and Debert.

Cpl. Jennifer Clarke says Walsh says he was last seen that day getting into a truck in Truro.

His vehicle, a beige 1990 Chrysler Sebring, was later found by his family in the parking lot of a business in downtown Truro.

Tony is 5'9″ and 180 pounds. He has several tattoos, including a diamond under his right eye. When last seen, he had been wearing brown work pants that may have been the Carhartt brand, a white T-shirt with black lettering and brown work boots.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Colchester District RCMP at 902-893-6820 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
