RCMP continue to look for tips in the disappearance of woman, 15 years after she went missing.

Leonette Purcell was last seen on the morning of December 16, 2004 at her Grand Lake home.

When a family member returned home later that day, the 56-year-old was gone and she hasn't been heard from since.

There were items in the home that seemed out of place.

Police believe her disappearance is suspicious and conducted an extensive search for Purcell, but nothing turned up.

According to the province's crime rewards program, two men were spotted on a security camera at the Enfield Irving Big Stop, one of whom called the Purcell home on the morning Leonette disappeared. Investigators have not yet been able to identify the pair.

Leonette is described as white, 5'2″ and 135 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902 490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.

The case is part of the Nova Scotia's Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.

All calls to 1-888-710-9090 are recorded. Those who come forward have to provide their name and contact information, and might be called to testify in court.
