Man charged with sexual assault

By CityNews Halifax Staff

Halifax Regional Police have charged a man in connection with sexual assaults that occurred between 2017 and 2019.

Back in April, police received a report about a sexual assault that had occurred in Dartmouth, allegedly by a massage therapist during appointments.

Trevor Jordan Stevens, 34, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face one count each of sexual assault and aggravated assault.

Police say they won't be releasing further details “out of respect and concern for the victim’s privacy and wellbeing.”
