Mooseheads defeat Titan 6-4, improve to 2-0

The Halifax Mooseheads improved to 2-0 on Wednesday night, picking up a 6-4 road win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.
The Herd opened up the scoring on as Mathieu Cataford found the back the the Titan's net late in the opening frame.
Cataford netted his second of the evening early in the second period but Riley Kidney quickly answered back to bring Bathurst within one.
The third period opened up with Cataford completing the hat-trick and restoring Halifax's two goal lead on a power play.
Jordan Dumais added to the Herd's lead shortly after but Blake Pilgrim-Edwards and Ben Allison answered back for the Titan to make it 4-3.
Stéphane Huard Jr restored the Herd's two goal lead late in the third period with his first as a Moosehead.
Markus Vidicek added one more for Halifax while Dylan Andrews scored one more for the Titan, to make it a 6-4 final in the Mooseheads' favour.
The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Friday when they welcome the Victoriaville Tigres.
