Bedard ties the record for most goals at World Juniors

Team Canada was on fire last night, downing Austria 11-0 with superstar Connor Bedard tallying two more goals and four assists in the contest at Scotiabank Centre.
Last night's goals were enough to tie the record for goals in the tournament at 14, currently held by Jordan Eberle, who now plays for the Seattle Kraken in the NHL.
Bedard has at least two more games to try and break that record.
The Canadians will not have long to savour their win as they prepare for a New Year's Eve clash with Sweden, who have not lost yet in the tournament, after winning in overtime over Chechia yesterday.
Fans can listen to the game broadcast live on CityNews 95.7, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Today will be a day off for Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Halifax.
