Nova Scotia’s population reaches another all-time high

Nova Scotia's population reached a new all-time high as of April 1 at 966,858 people, a gain of 1,476 people since Jan. 1.
Since April 1, 2018, the population has grown by 11,150 people.
Much of the increase is attributed to strong immigration over the past year.
Since 2015 there have also been 14 consecutive quarters of positive net migration to Nova Scotia from other provinces.
