Police charge two people involved in a Dartmouth robbery

Halifax Regional Police have charged a man and a woman in relation to a robbery that happened in Dartmouth on September 29. 

According to police, the two individuals took an amount of cash and a cellphone from a group of people who were known to them on Prince Arthur Avenue around 7:30 p.m. 

Police say the man confronted and then struck a man from the group with his hands, and then a piece of asphalt. They add the woman threatened another member of the group with a knife. 

Members of East Patrol Division arrested the two suspects without incident at a nearby resident.

David William Hammons, 35, of Dartmouth is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date to face charges of robbery and assault with a weapon.

Michelle Robin Stundon, 48, of Dartmouth is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court at a later date to face charges of robbery, assault with a weapon and two counts of uttering threats.
