Roach to compete Monday in “Jeopardy! Masters”

A Haligonian game-show champ will be back at it today.

Mattea Roach will be competing Monday night on “Jeopardy! Masters”, a new spinoff show pitting six recent super-champions against each other.

A different set of competitors will play two “high-stakes games” in each hour-long episode. The first class of “masters” will also include Matt Amodio, James Holzhauer, Amy Schneider and more.

Roach, who’s from Halifax but now lives in Toronto, won 23 straight games on Jeopardy! last year, the fifth-longest streak in the show’s history.

Monday’s show is scheduled for 8 p.m. on ABC.
