No injuries after shots fired in Fairview

There was a significant police presence in a Fairview neighbourhood over the noon hour on Saturday after a report that shots were fired. Halifax Regional Police officers descended onto Kingsmere Court at 12:38 p.m. after receiving a call of shots being heard in the area.

Police report no injuries associated with the shooting but stress their investigation remains in its early stages. Investigators say they don’t believe this to be a random shooting.
