Gas prices increase, diesel drops overnight in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotians woke up to slightly higher gasoline prices on Friday morning.

In its weekly adjustment, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board increased regular self-serve gasoline prices by 0.7 cents to 157.7.

However, diesel prices went 1.9 cents in the opposite direction as of midnight, dropping to 169.1 cents per litre.

This time last year, Nova Scotians were paying 1.62 for gas and diesel was 2.09 cents per litre.
