HRM issues alert after propane leak at Tantallon hardware store

HRM issued a hfxALERT notification around 8 pm Tuesday night after fire crews responded to a gas leak call at the Rona store at 3680 Hammonds Plains Rd.

The alert warned residents to stay away from the area while fire crews worked to clear the area.

No word on the cause of the propane leak was given.
