Fire crews make quick work of Clayton Park garage fire

No injuries were reported as Halifax Fire crews responded to a garage fire on Tuesday afternoon.

According to Deputy Chief Dave Meldrum, crews were called to the fire on Flamingo Drive around 2:45 p.m.

He said teams had the fire under control at around 3:20 p.m. and no one was injured.

Meldrum added a fire investigator was expected on the scene.

Reports said road closures were impacting traffic in the area of Flamingo Drive and Swallow Street.
