Fredericton police say two people injured and one charged following shooting

Fredericton police are investigating a shooting in the city’s north end that left two people injured.

Police said today officers responded to reports of a shooting at 12:45 p.m. on Canada Street.

They say two injured people were treated at the scene by paramedics.

One adult male has been arrested.   

Police are at the scene this afternoon and are asking the public to avoid the area.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fredericton police.
