Missing four-year-old Nova Scotia boy found safe two kilometres from his home

SPRINGVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA — A four-year-old Nova Scotia boy reported missing Saturday has been found safe about two kilometres from his home in Springville.

An RCMP spokesman says Grady MacKinnon was found in a field on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Cpl. Chris Marshall says the boy was treated for exposure but is doing fine.

The boy had wandered from his Pictou County home on Saturday afternoon.

Police tracking dogs were called in, as were ground and air search teams.
