Diesel prices jump in Nova Scotia as gasoline prices fall

The Nova Scotia Utilities and Review board used its weekly adjustment on Friday to lower the price for gasoline, while moving the price for diesel up significantly.

The provincial regulator lowering the price for gas by 5.3 cents to a new minimum of 164.3.

Diesel prices continued their upward trend with the price for fuel rising by 9.3 cents to 198.7.

Last year drivers were paying 1.32 for gasoline and 1.21 for diesel.
