Gas prices spike heading into the Thanksgiving weekend

Drivers are digging deeper into their pockets to fill up their tanks in Nova Scotia on Friday morning.

The provincial regulator has moved the minimum price for self-serve regular up by 4.8 cents to 141.6.

The news is worse for diesel. Fuel prices have jumped by seven cents to a new minimum price of $1.39.

One year ago we were paying 95 cents for gas and 86 cents for diesel.
