ROUYN-NORANDA, QC. – The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies dominated the Halifax Mooseheads in a 7-2 win on Saturday night at Arena Iamgold.

The Mooseheads found themselves in a deep hole early, as Rafael Harvey-Pinard, Justin Bergeron and Felix Bibeau all found the back of the net to make it 3-0 before the midway point of the first period.

Halifax's head coach Jim Midgley pulled Blade Mann-Dixon as a result, and put Alexis Gravel at net.

Filip Zadina scored his 24th of the season, putting the Mooseheads on the board early in the final period on a power play. Jared MacIsaac followed up a short time later to make it a one goal hockey game.

But Huskies managed to get back in the driver seat, as they netted four more goals to pull off a dominating 7-2 victory.

On Wednesday, the Herd makes their way to Sydney, Cape Breton to take on the Islanders.
