Lower Sackville’s Kinsmen Beach reopens to swimmers

Lower Sackville's Kinsmen Beach has reopened to swimmers.

Earlier tests indicated high bacteria levels in the water, but HRM says follow-up tests show the water is safe again.

The water quality at all supervised and four unsupervised beaches in the municipality is regularly tested in the summer months.

Earlier Wednesday, the municipality announced Albro Lake Beach is closed until further notice.

Residents can check the status of their favourite municipal beach online.
