MacKay Bridge closure scheduled Sunday

If you need to drive across the harbour Sunday, you'll need to take the Macdonald.

The MacKay Bridge will be closed for most of the day on Sunday, Aug. 2.

Halifax Harbour Bridges says the span will shut down at 4:30 a.m. and it's not scheduled to reopen until 10 p.m.

Crews will be doing regular maintenance, along with a main cable inspection.

Another full bridge closure of the MacKay is scheduled for next weekend.
