Sean Fraser re-elected in Central Nova

Liberal incumbent Sean Fraser has been re-elected in Central Nova.

Fraser was elected MP of the riding in 2015 following Conservative Peter MacKay's decision to not reoffer.

As of 1:20 a.m. with 228 of 230 polls reporting, Fraser has 46.36 per cent of the vote, with 19,822 votes.

Conservative candidate and country singer George Canyon has 12,663, the NDP's Betsy MacDonald has 5,727, the Green's Barry Randle has 3,311.

People's Party of Canada's Al Muir has 914 votes, the Communist Party's Chris Frazer has 176 votes and Independent Michael Slowik has 145.
