Snow on the way for Halifax as Environment Canada issues statement

By Mark Hodgins

It looks like some snow could finally be on the way for Halifax.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, advising that less than 15 cm could fall in HRM overnight Monday.

Snowfall warnings are in effect for parts of the Eastern Mainland and parts of Cape Breton.

The forecaster says if the system shifts west, Halifax will see higher amounts of snow.

The timing of the snowfall is expected to impact the Tuesday morning commute.
