Power restored to Halifax’s north end (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Nova Scotia Power's outage map shows power has been restored to the area.

There's a large power outage impacting Halifax's north end.

According to Nova Scotia Power, nearly 2,900 customers are without power as of 8:15 a.m.

The cause of the outage is still under investigation.

Power was expected to be restored by 12:15 p.m.
