Tigres dominate Mooseheads 8-2

HALIFAX – The Victoriaville Tigres dominated the Halifax Mooseheads 8-2 Wednesday night at the Scotiabank Centre.

Victoriaville knocked off three consecutive goals in the opening frame to take a 3-0 lead.

The Mooseheads put on a strong showing near the end of the period, with Max Fortier and Raphael Lavoie scoring a pair of goals to make it a one goal game.

The Tigres dominated the second period, scoring five unanswered goals to make it 8-2, a lead which they held onto for the remainder of the game. 

The Mooseheads are back in action on Saturday when they head to Chicoutimi to take on the Sags.
