Weekend cycling returns to Point Pleasant Park

Weekend cycling has returned to Point Pleasant Park, and this time it will stay.

After temporarily allowing bicycles last summer, Halifax Regional Municipality says bikes will now be allowed permanently on designated trails Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

This is after they received a lot of positive feedback to last year's pilot program through surveys and calls to 311.

“The municipality reminds visitors to follow park rules and regulations at all times while visiting Point Pleasant Park to ensure everyone has a positive experience,” HRM said in a news release.
