Another 82 drivers ticketed for speeding and other offences

Halifax Regional Police issued 82 tickets for speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences throughout the region over a two-day period.

Members from the HRP Traffic Unit issued 82 summary offence tickets on Wednesday and Thursday: 41 for speeding; and 41 for other offences including no insurance, expired plates, using a cell phone and failed safety inspections.

In a continued effort to address traffic safety issues and educate citizens on the rules of the road, our officers focus on speed enforcement. We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe.
