As Halifax Regional Police mark the one year anniversary of Devon Marsman's disappearance, they're hoping someone with information will come forward to help them advance their investigation.

Marsman was last seen in the Spryfield area on February 24, 2022 and hasn't been heard from since.

The then 16-year-old was reported missing by family members on March 4.

Marsman is described as African Nova Scotian, approximately 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with blue-green eyes and short dark hair.

When last seen, he was wearing a hooded sweater and jeans.

Police consider his disappearance to be suspicious and they believe there are people who have knowledge they haven't yet shared.

Those with information can reach investigators by calling 902-490-5020.

The case is also part of the province's Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.

All calls to 1-888-710-9090 are recorded and those who come forward need to provide their name and contact information, and may be called to testify in court.
