Man injured in early morning workplace incident

Halifax Regional Police say a 47-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being injured in a workplace incident early Wednesday.

Emergency crews were called to a business on Bluewater Road in Bedford just before 3:30 a.m.

They say the man had been repairing road maintenance equipment when he was hurt.

The Department of Labour is investigating.
