Man suffers life-threatening injuries after downtown assault

Halifax Police say a 29-year-old male has sustained life threatening injuries after being assaulted by a group of males in downtown Halifax.

On Saturday morning at 2:30 a.m., a local male was approached and assaulted by 5 males at the corner of Grafton and Prince Street.

Regional Police say they are investigating the incident and there is no suspect description currently.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
