New Ross man dies in snowmobile crash

A New Ross man has died in a snowmobile crash in Lunenburg County.

RCMP say the 56-year-old was alone on the vehicle when it left Russell Road and hit some trees at around 8:40 p.m. Monday.

Mounties say the man was thrown from the snowmobile and died at the scene.

“Our thoughts are with the family of the victim at this difficult time,” said police in a news release.
