Person finds man walking around inside their residence early Sunday

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after a man was found walking around inside an Edward Street residence, near the Dalhousie University campus.

It happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday.

Police say he got in through an unlocked door, then left after being confronted by someone living in the home.

He's described as white and in his 50s with a heavy build. He had been wearing a grey hooded sweater.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
