Police investigate after man calls child over to vehicle

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after getting a report that a man asked a child to come over to his car Monday afternoon.
Police say the red four-door car was parked on Birchwood Terrace in Dartmouth when the man called out to the 10-year-old at around 1 p.m.
The child stayed away from the man and ran off to report the incident to an adult.
The man drove by the youth before leaving the area.
He's described as white, in his 40s, bald and was wearing glasses.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
