Police look for driver after pedestrian struck last month in Dartmouth

Halifax Regional Police are looking for the driver of a dark grey sedan after a pedestrian was struck in Dartmouth last month.

Police say a man was in a marked crosswalk when he was hit on Windmill Road north of Albro Lake Road at around 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 17.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

They say the driver stopped and got out of the vehicle, but then left without talking to the pedestrian.

The vehicle is described as a small, four door dark grey sedan that might have been a Honda or Toyota.

The driver is described as Black, in his 30s with a buzz cut. He had been wearing a grey shirt.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
