Police search for suspect after man punched and robbed

Halifax Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a man was punched and robbed Monday.

It happened at around 5 p.m. near West and Agricola streets.

After knocking the victim to the ground and taking his property, the suspect drove off in what's believe to be a black Chevrolet Cruz.

The suspect is described as a Black man, around 5'11″ with a medium build and a shaved head. He had been wearing a white T-shirt, light coloured blue jeans, white sneakers and reading glasses.

Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
